Brand new apartment in an old building from 1935. Renovated in June 2018. This two-bedroom apartment with balcony, new furniture, is located in Downtown Charm Reykjavik, on the first floor of Grundarstígur 17, close to Reykjavik’s main shopping streets. The external entrance has an electronic lock, which opens the door with a key code for 30 seconds and then quietly locks it again. The parking is on Grundarstígur, the street in front of the building.
Sleeps 5 people, very cozy new apartment in a great location and a charming place to spend your vacation. You can walk from the apartment to all the main spots in Reykjavik’s old city and to all the best restaurants downtown. A perfect location, a very quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of the city’s daily bustle.
Next to Hlemmur, Hallgrímskirkja, Laugavegur, Skólavörðustígur, Tjörnin, and Hljómskálagarður
Close to the City Hall, by the parking area, you’ll find the pick-up stop for sightseeing day tours. We recommend many day tours and you’ll find some of our touring suggestions here
There are many nice restaurants close to the apartment, such as NAT Kitchen healthy food, Jamie´s restaurant, Apótekið, Kopar, Gott and the Italian Essensia restaurant, among others.
The Krónan Supermarket on Hallveigarstígur is just 2 minutes’ walk away.
You can walk from the apartment to all the main spots in Reykjavik’s old city and to all the best restaurants downtown. A perfect location, a very quiet neighbourhood but within walking distance of the city’s daily bustle.
Next bus stop location is at Hotel Holt (BSÍ Main bus terminal) or Inga's new Guest Apartments on Bergstaðastræti (Bus Stop 8 Hallgrímskirkja)

Room 1: for 2 people has 2x 90 cm beds with big wardrobe
Room 2: for 3 people has 2x 90 cm beds and 1 sleeping couch and a chest of drawers
1 baby crib and duvet and extra mattress for small kids up to 4 years old.
There is a new sleeping couch in the living room, as well as a new flat screen TV and Apple TV and a fully equipped kitchen. The entrance to the building has an electronic lock which opens the door with a key code. The apartment is labelled Katla.
Nice big waterfall shower head, high-quality beds and the apartment has everything you need for your wonderful vacation. All the furniture and equipment in the apartment are new.
Tenants have full access to TV, Apple TV and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for 5 people. The bed and sleeping couch are all new and high quality. The shower is dynamic with a waterfall shower head.

The keys are in the key box and we send the code and detailed info when guests have confirmed the reservation.

Wonderful place to stay in Reykjavik! The apartment was immaculate – bed were super comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved the heated floor in the bathroom! We were able to walk everywhere in the city that we needed to and the check-in and check-out process was very easy. Would highly recommend for any travellers!
